About Me
Autobiography
I am born and raised in the beautiful city of Plovdiv (a.k.a. among others Eumolpias (Thracian time), Phillippoupolis (Greek time) and Trimontium (Roman time) with meaning in latin the “three hills”.
I come from a family of Electrical Engineers and pretty much following on their footsteps I attended a vocational high school of electronics and later majored in Computer Science at college. For what I am, a person of rich technical background where I’ve spent much of my childhood exploiDing amps and semiconductors in my father basement, you would be surprised that I’m not the total the nerd you may expect. In contrast to children these days
at least I remember the time without the INET and numerous splendid summer breaks spent at the country side with my grandparents. Yet I admit like many kids these days I was heavily influenced by computers and computer games in particular.
I still remember in the summer of 1995, late afternoon, sun going down with a hot red beam on the surface of the black screen with the blinking cursor. A second hand Olivetti 80286 Intel with a 14″ color! screen. That was the summer!
the last, and the first
. Ever since I am a gamer and gaming, at least used to be, my second life and as it happens with music quite often, you stop listening to it and start making it, so it happened for me and the games. My decision to follow a career in the game industry let to my enrollment in a graduate school, Utrecht University, and attend the specialized program of Game and Media Technology.
